Introduction:

Believing in myself as an artist is a daily battle.

What does it even mean to be an artist?

God's Creative Handiwork:

For me, it starts with this: I am made in the image of God—the ultimate Creator. So naturally, there’s a fire inside me to create. To make music. To build. To shape words, colors, sounds, and ideas in ways that awaken purpose in others.

Every morning I wake up, and there it is again—this pull toward expression.

Toward something I haven’t yet seen or heard, but somehow know is real.

I constantly have to resist the temptation to compare—what others are doing, what the world celebrates. Instead, I’m learning to listen inwardly. To chase what hasn’t been made yet. To trust that the vision I carry matters—even when it’s unproven.

Made in His Image:

The fight of faith is believing what’s inside me was placed there on purpose.

I’m not just making art for art’s sake.

I’m building places of shelter—castles of sound, vision, and story—where others can come and find their own sense of calling. I’m carving new roads because the old ones, though familiar, lead to stagnation. And comfort, if I let it, could slowly bury me in boredom.

So I choose the unknown. I choose the calling.

I choose to create—because to do anything else would be to deny the reason I was made.
