I bring a unique blend of artistic vision and strategic planning to our mission of helping individuals discover their true purpose. With a history of owning and operating my own business, experience in graphic design and creative branding, I use my skills in digital communication to craft words and images that connect and inspire.
ABOUT OUR BUSINESS
Nestled in the serene hills of Brush Creek, Tennessee, Igniting Purpose spans 45 acres of peaceful countryside. Our grounds feature an event center, a barn offering Equine Therapy, nature trails, and a tranquil pond. While future building projects are on the horizon, our current focus is on developing the farm. We’re creating a nurturing environment, home to a growing family of animals, including a beautiful horse, two donkeys, chickens, and dogs. Igniting Purpose isn’t just a place—it’s a journey toward healing, growth, and a deeper understanding of God’s love and purpose for your life.
WHO WE ARE.
Founded in 2024 by Kathy and Gary Stommel, Igniting Purpose is a Therapeutic Group Intensive Center close to Nashville, Tennessee. After years of experience in working with people individually and guiding group intensives, Kathy is now bringing her expertise to her own originally designed programs. She has created a place for transformation-where people can overcome trauma, find freedom from fear, and gain the resources to live with purpose, joy, and fulfillment.

Christian Counseling Non-Profit
At Igniting Purpose, we believe no person should be denied the opportunity to heal due to financial limitations. Through our 501 (c) (3) non-profit initiative, Christian Counsel Associates (established in 2014), you can make a meaningful impact by providing access to counseling and therapeutic intensives for individuals, couples, and families facing emotional pain, trauma, or crisis who lack the resources to seek help.
Your tax-deductible donation goes directly toward offering these life-changing services to those in need. When you give to the Christian Counsel Associates Foundation, you’re doing more than contributing; you’re helping someone find freedom, restoration, and renewed purpose.
